Child and Family Well-being

Community Tables and Protocol Development

Our approach to supporting children, youth and families is grounded in the following overarching principles: Respect, Wisdom, Responsibility and Relationships. Family and youth voices are paramount.

We work in and with communities to facilitate the enhancement and or creation of holistic services that are child, youth and family centered ensuring the best possible outcomes for resilient and healthy families. Our approach fosters culture and identify as foundational. We do this by coordinating and facilitating workshops bringing together service providers from all sectors to plan effectively for holistic models of service delivery.

Training and Development

Our approach to training and mentoring is engaging and collaborative focusing on transfer of knowledge into the workplace.

We work with community service providers to develop and deliver training & mentoring. We use an Indigenous cultural framework designed to meet the unique strengths and needs of each community.

As an alternative option, we also provide training that is focused on leading edge thinking and content designed to increase staff/client satisfaction and improve outcomes. These Indigenous training modules can be viewed at https://www.bmgtraininginstitute.com/.
